Our Story
Our roots run deep in the Inland Valley.
In the 1950s, Grandpa Jertberg became one of the first strawberry growers in the Chino Valley, laying the foundation for a family tradition that would continue for generations.
His son-in-law, Brian Nicolson, carried that tradition forward when he started Nicolson Strawberries on Route 66, bringing the family’s passion for growing fresh strawberries to the heart of the Inland Empire.
Today, that legacy continues with his son, Kyle Nicolson, who proudly operates our farm as a third-generation family grower.

U-pick Strawberry Harvest
There is no strawberry sweeter than the one you harvest with your own hands. Please note: U-Pick strawberry picking is offered exclusively in April and May (weather dependent), when our fields are at their sweetest and most abundant.
U-pick is a seasonal experience, but our roadside stand remains open through October. Come by for freshly harvested strawberries, local honey, and seasonal produce.

When is U-pick offered?
Our u-pick is exclusively offered in April/May weather dependent.
How much does U-pick cost?
$5 entry fee per person ages 4 and up. Small bucket $15 and large $25.
Can we eat berries while we pick?
We don’t mind a taste test or two but you must purchase a bucket to enjoy the full experience.
